Subconscious Language Learning When you think of rhythmic entrancement you might entertain thoughts of ritualistic ceremonies where shaman transcend into an altered state of consciousness, induced by drumming and chanting. The purpose of these ceremonies was to communicate with their gods and the earth, to remedy their sickness and hunger. What they often experienced were moments of great insight or creativity, vision and dreams. Today you will find a variety of media and mind machines to assist you in fulfilling your deepest desire or overcoming most annoying inconvenience as well as media designed to stimulate and open your mind to higher cognitive functioning. The idea is that through the frequency following response (FFR) the desired stimulation is able to entrain the brains state of consciousness. Methods of entrainment come in the form of Isochronic tones, binaural beats, strobe lights, electrical pulses, and other audio and visual stimulation. The principles of entrainment appear in chemistry, neurology, biology, pharmacology, medicine, astronomy and more. |
